The design philosophy of the North Orbit is simple: to create a kite that allows beginners and pros alike to jump incredibly high and progress. And with the new North Orbit 2024, that goal has certainly been achieved! The updates to the North Orbit 2024 are in the details, so we are proud to say that the North Orbit is now completely perfected.

The stability and predictability of the previous version of the Orbit were already second to none, but the 2024 Orbit takes these features to the next level. The bridle setup of the 2024 Orbit has been modified, making the kite catch gusts better and even easier to control in strong winds, further enhancing the predictability of the 2024 Orbit. So you can confidently steer the Orbit into high winds for jumps you've never experienced before.

The upgrade of the bridles also resulted in a balanced shape of the leading edge. The continuous-curved arc LE is slightly narrower at the "shoulders" and slightly wider at the wingtips. As a result, the North Orbit 2024 has an aerodynamic design and flies through the air with less drag. You'll notice that this is the fastest Orbit ever, and that's even though the North Orbit has always been known as one of the fastest 5-strut kites on the market! Kitelooping with a 5-strut kite has never been easier. The pulling power provided by the North Orbit 2024 during a kiteloop is light and offers full control, allowing you to practice all types of kiteloops with lots of variety.

For the Orbit 2024, the panel layout has been revised. This modification removed some heavy panels and minimized the number of seams. This makes the Orbit lighter and also contributes to an aerodynamic profile, faster steering and more pleasant feedback.

And if that wasn't enough, the bladders of all Orbit 2024 kites have been made a whopping 17% lighter, providing an overall performance boost!

Of course, some features of the North Orbit 2024 remain unchanged. For example, the Orbit 2024 retains its unique high aspect ratio for endless hangtime and big air. In the smaller sizes, this aspect ratio has been reduced slightly to provide even more hangtime. The 5-strut design, which is the basis for the stable character of the North Orbit, is also found in the 2024 version. Last year's bar pressure upgrade is also included in the 2024 Orbit, allowing you to adjust the kite in four different ways. At several points, the Orbit has been reinforced with kevlar, extending the life of the kite.
