Since its introduction, the Core XR has been one of the best high performance freeride and big air kites on the market. The XR7 continues this trend: the kite has received a number of upgrades but still feels like a trusted Core XR kite. The Core !

Over the years, the Core XR has managed to build up a very large fan base. Characteristic of the Core XR is its powerful character, sheet-and-go power and of course the incredible big air possibilities. In addition, the Core XR7 sails easily upwind and offers you very good depower. This means that the Core XR7 has a very good high end, allowing you to kitesurf in strong winds with great confidence. The strong five strut construction ensures that the Core XR7 will always be super stable in the air and can easily absorb gusts without the canvas flapping too much.

Thanks to the CIT (Core Intelligent Trim) System, you can adjust the Core XR7 to your own preferences. There is a setting for wave, all-round and freestyle. The XR7 is supplied 'ready-to-fly' in the all-round setting as standard. The short bridle system provides a nice and medium direct feeling of the Core XR7. This allows you to perform high-altitude rotations on the XR7 with complete confidence and always have a good idea of where the kite is in the air, as we have all seen Janek Grzegorzewski do.

The updated Core XR7 has received a number of major upgrades compared to the XR6. The biggest change this year is the use of new, exclusive to Core, CoreTex2 kitesurf cloth. Core has been developing this fabric for three years and with the introduction of the XR7, this new CoreTex2 fabric is also being introduced. The new CoreTex2 fabric has a new coating and is therefore stronger, stiffer and more durable because, among other things, it is better resistant to UV radiation.

In addition, the struts are also made of new lightweight ExoTex material previously used in the XLite and Nexus2. The struts are lighter in weight and provide more flex. By using the stiffer cloth and new ExoTex struts, the XR7 steers significantly faster than the XR6. By using new materials, small adjustments have also been made to, among other things, the shape and bridles of the XR7 to maintain the familiar XR feeling.
